Fellowship Campaign

Fellowship with children challenges their brain, thinking, and imagination. By conversation, the child tries to define a structure for what he has in his mind, to pronounce it and to communicate with the outside world. The first words that children learn are the same words they hear from parents. They can communicate with others and prepare for reading and writing with the same words. In addition, studies show that from a social perspective, quality education in early years of life has positive and lasting effects on people’s emotional and behavioral development. Children are interested in discovering the surroundings before the age of six months, they look at people’s faces and their parts, and begin to discover sounds and respond to them. Listening to them teaches bilateral conversation to them, and this reflects this fact that talking with children is of utmost importance in developing creativity and mental imagery and their intellectual skills. “Fellowship” provides the context for children’s linguistic development, and is an exceptional opportunity in which parents do not need any tools. It is just enough to find a topic for themselves and their children.

Research shows that the fastest rate of human brain growth is in the first five years of life. Given that 80% of children’s brain develops up to the age of three and 700 neurons are formed per second, the verbal communication is very important in the early years of life. Children in the early years of childhood are discovering the world through their senses. Exploring the surroundings in detail and discussing what they see helps them experience the wonder of colors and shapes. Neither parents’ education, nor the income level of the family promote the development of children, but it is the quality and quantity of talking and reading with children that develops their academic and work success.

According to statistics, our country has very bad conditions in the latest International Pirls Test in 2011, which concerns reading literacy and is held in the fourth grade of primary school. In this test, Iran is ranked 38 among the 45 countries of the world, necessitating more attention to the topic of dialogue and fellowship with children.

In order to achieve the improvement of the quality and productivity of the child’s growth environment and increase the quality of interaction and communication with him, fellowship campaigns are held in Dyarino. The campaign aims to sensitize and raise public awareness of the impact of fellowship with children on their brain development, the opportunity for practical experience, and possibility of parents’ inspiration from simple topics and methods for fellowship with children, the attention of city officials and policymakers to the verbal development of children, distribution and sale of fellowship-related products in the form of books and audiobooks, presentation of reports, and appraisal of the project as a model.
