Our children's thriving is an
opportunity for our inner child.

Collaborative reading workshop

Collaborative reading program is designed for parents. The course that this program runs is independent of the child’s age and can cover parents from childhood to primary school.

In this workshop, parents and trainers become familiar with new ways of reading for the child, which allow them to enjoy reading with their children as an opportunity for joint enjoyment and companionship.

Reading different books and stories creates different values in the mind of the child, increases his sensitivity, and develops respect for others. The satisfaction that a child gains from reading will make him self-dependent. The questions posed through reading for the child and the comparisons he makes on various issues make him a creative person. With the use of imagination as the essential prerequisite for creativity, a vast world opens up to the eyes of the child and he is able to imagine freely. In this situation, the child never finds himself confined to facts and evident affairs.

The purpose of the collaborative reading program is to teach the primary parent-child collaborative reading techniques as a workshop, including basic techniques for book reviewing, expressing while reading, displaying and naming photos, reviewing and revising the book, paying attention to child’s predictions, and more importantly, linking the book to real life. It is designed with the goal of using ordinary living opportunities, including reading, for communication richness, growth and learning, as well as promoting child literacy and education along parents.
